If you already bought a Kindle Fire HD 8.9" this year, you can get a $50 refund if you call Kindle Support TODAY ONLY, while the Deal of the Day promotion is still active, and ask for it. If you bought more than one, you can get a $50 refund for each one that you still have (in case you've returned one, you can't get a further refund on it; if you had to have a replacement sent, though, you can still get the refund on the original purchase).The reason you can get this refund is that all Kindles have a 30-day no-questions-asked return policy and Amazon doesn't want to handle a large number of returns and ship out new units, just so you can get a price match.
If you are on Twitter or Facebook - be sure to ReTweet or LIKE this post and let your friends know that they can get this refund. It's only valid today and only for as long as they have the promotion active (if they sell out early, the refunds stop when they take down the deal).

If you get any problems with the refund, just hang up and call back. You don't have to return the Fire you have (that would cost Amazon even more than the refund due to the promo). There is a document available from their desktop that specifically covers this promo and who qualifies (anyone who bought in the last 30 days, which is essentially everyone that has the 8.9" Fire).
